Overview
The NETGEAR Nighthawk AX4 4-Stream AX3000 WiFi Router supports the latest generation WiFi 6 technology to provide greater network capacity with consistent and powerful signal strength to all your connected devices.
Quick Specs
Table 1 shows the Quick Specs.
Netgear RAX40provides these features and benefits:
4-Stream WiFi - Connect, Stream and Download Faster
More WiFi streams means more available bandwidth and less congestion for all the devices in the WiFi network. The Nighthawk AX4 provides consistent and powerful signal strength to multiple devices at the same time so you can enjoy smooth gaming and 4K UHD video streaming, faster file transfers and backups.
Gigabit Wi-Fi to Mobile Devices
Now maximize the wireless benefits of your Gigabit internet service plans so you can connect, stream and download faster. The latest Wi-Fi 6 standard supports 160MHz bandwidth that enables Gigabit Wi-Fi speeds to the newer PCs and mobile devices that support 160MHz bandwidth. Future proof your purchase to keep pace as you add latest devices to your home Wi-Fi.
Improved Network Capacity for More WiFi Devices
Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) enables efficient data scheduling so that more transmissions can be sent at the same time, resulting in an impressive capacity increase in your network. This increased or available bandwidth allows you to add more devices to your network. Nighthawk AX4 supports uplink and downlink OFDMA to efficiently use air-time with better frequency reuse, reduced latency, and increased network efficiency. This is extremely useful for latency sensitive applications such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and Internet of things (IoT) sensors.
Powerful Dual-Core Processor
Nighthawk AX4's powerful dual-core processor with fully offloaded CPU is designed to transfer multi-gigs of data. Full-packet processing offload means zero load on the CPU, so you can do more on your WiFi without slowing down. Enjoy smoother Ultra-HD 4K video streaming and gaming without interruptions.
