A unique dual chipset makes AXIS P3255-LVE the perfect platform for analytics based on deep learning. Ideal for various surveillance situations, it features granular object classification and all the high-quality AXIS P32 Series features.

Highly nuanced object classification

This fixed dome camera features an innovative dual chipset that is the basis for nuanced and remarkably granular object classification. It comes with AXIS Object Analytics preinstalled and the camera's dual chipset facilitates powerful artificial intelligence with deep learning. This makes it possible for AXIS Object Analytics to detect and classify humans and/or vehicles as well as distinguish between different types of vehicles such as cars, buses, trucks, and bikes (motorcycle/bicycle). Basing notifications on different types of objects results in fewer false alarms and allows your operators to able to handle more cameras.

Endless opportunities with deep learning on the edge

A dual chipset, which combines the proprietary Axis ARTPEC chip with a deep learning processing unit (DLPU), provides the perfect platform for developing customized analytics based on deep learning. This advanced hardware, in combination with the open Axis platform, allows analytics to run on AXIS P3255-LVE (on the edge), so there's no need for expensive servers. This results in a faster and more scalable system and facilitates complex and powerful analytics. Other benefits include real-time processing and lower costs and complexity. And storage and bandwidth needs, as well as privacy concerns, are reduced because only relevant video is transferred over the network.

Excellent image quality 24/7

This high-performance camera offers excellent image quality in HDTV 1080p resolution. And with Axis Lightfinder 2.0 and Axis Forensic WDR it delivers true colors and great detail in challenging light or near darkness. Furthermore, OptimizedIR ensures sharp video even in complete darkness without the need for extra lighting.

When security is key

Enclosed in a dust and vandal-resistant IK10-rated casing, this outdoor-ready camera is protected against redirection, defocusing, and impacts. It's packed with built-in security functionality to prevent unauthorized access and safeguard your system. Axis Edge Vault protects your Axis device ID and simplifies authorization of Axis products on your network. Additionally, signed firmware and secure boot guarantee that the firmware hasn't been compromised and ensure only authorized firmware is installed. And if needed, secure boot guarantees the camera is completely free of malware even after a factory default.
