Overview
Quick Specs
1911-3-200-24 | 24U 2-Post Relay Rack
A 24U 2-Post Relay Rack is designed to hold and organize your networking equipment. It’s strong and robust construction allows it to accommodate equipment with a weight capacity of 800lbs, making it ideal for switches, patch- panels, UPS’s, rack shelves, rack mounts and keyboard trays.
The L- bracketed base design of the relay rack makes it firm and stable. However, because there are only two posts, the rack must be anchored to the floor to prevent tipping. It is therefore recommended that the heavier equipment be installed at the base of the rack.
The rack includes characteristic four ¼-20 x 0.5” grounding studs on the inside of the rails. These grounding studs are an essential component of a grounding system, which is designed to protect people and equipment from electrical shock and damage. Serrated tooth washers are included for frame grounding during the assembling procedure.
The Relay rack is gangable and includes ganging holes on both sides of the frames. Both the 24U and 45U size racks can be ganged together, creating a larger and versatile rack system to accommodate a greater amount of equipment. Cable Passes are given to allow multiple cablings to pass through between the rack.
